Sometimes we need a place to grow and navigate life in a safe and healing environment. I believe in providing that genuine and empathetic space for you to overcome challenges and achieve your goals to ultimately thrive in life. Whether it be past unresolved experiences, current challenges, or both, there is a way to get through the other side. Therapy is where we can collaborate on what would best suit you and your needs to live a fulfilling life.
I currently have experience counseling adolescents, couples, and adults of all ages from various backgrounds and stages. Additionally, I have previously worked with children and adolescents in various educational settings ranging from preschool to high school. I have also facilitated intensive outpatient (IOP) groups for co-occurring substance use and mental health symptoms as well as leading a healthy relationships group. My work includes supporting clients in managing trauma, depression, anxiety, substance use, stress, life transitions, and relationships.
To make for a successful therapeutic experience, I focus on creating a healthy therapeutic relationship and unconditional positive regard to instill trust and collaboration. I strive for individuals to feel comfortable to open up and explore themselves and the world around them. Additionally, I combine a variety of modalities that best suit each individuals’ needs and treatment goals. I gravitate towards motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma informed approach. Throughout my time with clients we will work on eliciting self-reflection, challenging negative cognitions, navigating difficult emotions, resolving ambivalence, healing past traumatic/stressful experiences, and finding inner peace.
If you’re looking for a supportive and healing journey, this is the next step and I’m excited to help you!
