Struggling? Grieving? This pain can interfere with your life, both at home and at work. I can help you feel understood and cared for. Finding your inner strength and healing is an emotional journey, and I am willing to travel through it with you. I will offer you a calm, non-judgmental, even playful place as we explore ways to improve your life. I draw from clinical approaches such as Internal Family Systems and Emotionally Focused, Narrative, Play and Imago Relationships therapies and Coaching, encouraging you to clear the clutter and find your true Self. It’s hard work but you can head toward a more rewarding life. My work experience is quite diverse, informing my clinical practice. Throughout my years as a newspaper reporter and marketing specialist, I found my strength in mentoring others. Communication is critical, I realized. After observing the trauma of relationship issues and chronic illness, I went back to school to shift to a clinical focus. In a number of urban and rural outpatient settings, I have worked with individuals, couples, families and children. I am especially inspired by couples who work hard to improve their relationship, and I consider it an honor to work with them. I have experience treating depression, anxiety, trauma, grief/loss, major life transitions and chronic illness. I welcome people of all ages, ethnicities and sexual orientation. I am also a Certified Grief Informed Professional, a training that informs my work are grief and loss, as well as major life transitions.
