Begin Your Journey to Positive Change

Deciding to enter therapy is the first step toward meaningful change in your life. Everyone faces challenges, and seeking support can lead to personal growth, new perspectives, and a life filled with joy and purpose.

I’m Marissa Wright, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience. I work with young adults, adults, and seniors in various settings, including outpatient psychotherapy and psychiatric day treatment. My supportive, strengths-based approach addresses issues such as anxiety, depression, major life transitions, grief, and caregiver stress. I also specialize in helping individuals and caregivers adjust to life after an Alzheimer’s or dementia diagnosis.

My client-centered practice combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Positive Psychology, and Motivational Interviewing. I emphasize self-care, mindfulness, and breathing exercises to enhance your therapy experience.

Whether you’re seeking self-discovery, effective coping strategies, improved self-esteem, or healthier relationships, therapy is a valuable investment in yourself. Together, we’ll create a tailored plan to help you achieve your goals in a trusting and supportive environment.
