I believe therapy is a place to feel heard and make meaningful changes that help you live the life you want to live. If it is important to you, it is important for me to hear. There can be a lot of pressures from other people in our lives, social media, and society as a whole that can make us feel like we are not doing enough, or not making the “right” choices. I hope to provide a space away from those pressures and judgements, where you can explore your personal values and strengths and find the choices that are right for you! I think it is important to explore and learn about our brain, body and mind as well as about the impact that systems like our family systems, school systems, legal systems, etc. have on us and our daily lives. I have experience working with many different populations ranging from children to adults, families and individuals. I have worked with members of communities including the LGBTQIA+ community as well as neurodivergent individuals. I have worked with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, and life transitions. I use modalities including CBT-based interventions, Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness strategies. I work from a trauma-informed lens and I am trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for PTSD. I pride myself on creating a welcoming space for all and utilizing a person-centered framework. I believe in a collaborative process that centers you as the expert of your life. I am looking forward to learning about your strengths and putting those strengths at the forefront of the work to reach the goals that you want to reach!
