Alicia Albertson

Holistic Therapy for Recovery and Growth

I believe in the powerful connection between mind, body, and spirit, essential for overall health and recovery. Everyone deserves the opportunity for healing, and therapy can be a safe space to explore and discover new aspects of yourself. With guidance, you can shift your perspective and unlock your potential for recovery.

I provide a warm, supportive environment where we work together towards your goals. Specializing in eating disorders, I help clients overcome challenges related to Anorexia, Bulimia, Binge Eating, and Body Image Issues. I work with adolescents, adults, and families, drawing from extensive experience in hospital and outpatient settings.

My approach is individualized, utilizing Health At Every Size (HAES) and All Foods Fit models to foster a positive relationship with food and body. I focus on enhancing self-worth, self-esteem, and emotional regulation while challenging cognitive distortions.

In addition to eating disorders, I also support clients facing depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other mental health concerns. My therapeutic modalities include Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing.

With over 15 years of experience and licenses in Connecticut and Florida, I am committed to guiding you on your journey toward recovery and self-discovery.
