As a therapist, my goal is to create a warm, safe, and non-judgmental space for my clients to explore and heal. I support my clients in developing their innate skills and strengths to navigate challenging periods and life transitions in ways that promote growth and well-being. With over 25 years of experience as a clinician and school psychologist, I specialize in assisting clients with a variety of issues, including difficult-to-treat depression, trauma, anxiety, substance use and addiction, life transitions, family and relationship problems, and providing support for meeting the educational and social-emotional needs of children. My therapeutic approach is relationship-centered and integrative, drawing on modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma-informed care. I strive to create a collaborative space for processing both familiar and new concerns with insight, skill building, authenticity, and humor.
