Sometimes we need a place to grow and navigate life in a safe and healing environment. I believe in providing that genuine and empathetic space for you to overcome challenges and achieve your goals to ultimately thrive in life. Whether it be past unresolved experiences, current challenges, or both, there is a way to get through the other side.  Therapy is where we can collaborate on what would best suit you and your needs to live a fulfilling life.

I currently counsel adolescents, couples, and adults from diverse backgrounds and life stages. My work includes supporting clients in managing trauma/PTSD, depression, anxiety, disordered eating, relationship challenges, neurodivergence, LGBTQ+ identity, and major life transitions. I have previously worked with children and adolescents in various educational settings, ranging from preschool to high school, where I supported students with neurodivergence and assisted those facing academic and social challenges. I translate this invaluable experience into my counseling practice with adolescents and young adults, helping them navigate their unique challenges and foster growth. Additionally, I have facilitated intensive outpatient (IOP) groups addressing co-occurring substance use and mental health challenges. I previously led a healthy relationships group, focusing on attachment styles, how childhood experiences shape current relationships, effective communication, and rebuilding trust with others. I continue to integrate these topics into my work with individuals and couples, supporting them in building stronger, healthier relationships. As a Certified Trauma Professional (CTP), I have further developed my skills to assist clients in processing and healing from trauma, empowering them to create meaningful and fulfilling lives.

To make for a successful therapeutic experience, I focus on creating a healthy therapeutic relationship and unconditional positive regard to instill trust and collaboration. I strive for individuals to feel comfortable to open up and explore themselves and the world around them. Additionally, I combine a variety of modalities that best suit each individuals’ needs and treatment goals. I gravitate towards motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma informed approach. Throughout my time with clients we will work on eliciting self-reflection, challenging negative cognitions, navigating difficult emotions, resolving ambivalence, incorporating mindfulness, healing past traumatic/stressful experiences, and finding inner peace.

If you’re looking for a supportive and healing journey, this is the next step and I’m excited to help you!
