About our Facilitators
Our Mastermind group is facilitated by Dr. Dori Gatter and Samantha Murphy, LPC.
Dori Gatter
Dori owns and operates a large group practice that she started in 2013. Dori started with 2 clinicians and through a painful and expensive trial and error process grew the practice over time. Dori now has 30 clinicians, plus several support staff. In this program Dori shares all the things she has learned about how to smoothly create and run a successful group practice and avoid the costly mistakes many people make without the proper guidance. Dori comes from a background of being a student in a mastermind when she first started out and knows the value of being a part of a mastermind group.
Sam Murphy
Samantha Murphy is the Clinical Director of our group practice and also has her own LLC. Sam has experience as a Clinician, Supervisor and in Operations Management. She prioritizes burnout prevention and strongly promotes self-care of the therapist through training and support around time management, healthy boundaries in business, coordination with support staff and personal development. Within her roles Sam also has experience with leadership development, team building, creating group culture, interviewing, statistical analysis and more. She onboards and trains all of our group’s new clinicians 1:1, helping them adjust to private practice in the most efficient way possible. Sam has also been through the auditing process and wants to help all therapists avoid easy documentation mistakes and feel confident as both a clinician and practice owner.
