Greetings! I am a Clinical Psychologist who specializes in working with teens and young adults, particularly around issues of life transitions, identity, values, and relationships. I have clinical experience at all levels of care, and am passionate about helping folks feel empowered and engaged in their lives, both in the present moment and for the future.
I have expertise in LGBTQ issues, depression and anxiety, trauma, and communication issues. My approach is open-minded, honest, collaborative, and strengths-based. I use CBT to explore and challenge unhelpful beliefs, DBT to build mindfulness skills and identify helpful coping skills, and ACT to help you define your values giving your life meaning.
I am passionate about helping you understand what is going on inside your brain so you don’t think you are broken. I believe you are the expert on your own life and we will work together to figure out what approach to therapy will meet your needs. I will never judge you for your darkness and will reflect your light back at you until you see it.
I will use humor and curiosity to help you find your own voice, identify meaning in your story, and trust yourself and your decisions. My mission in life is to hold an unconditionally positive and supportive space for the outcasts, the oddballs, the black sheep, the weird kids, the nerds, geeks, queer, neurodivergent, and the bullied. You are my people and I want to meet you!
